Carder has always been my little water baby. He just LOVES LOVES LOVES water. If he hears water running in the bathtub you can bet that within seconds he will be finding his way in there...if he has a cup of water and finds an empty container anywhere in sight he will be pouring his water back and forth between the two etc. So after the boys went to the fire station we went over to my Aunt Kim's house to let the boys do some swimming. Carder has been wanting to swim (really swim with no floaties) so badly. Last summer he was pretty close, but this summer we didn't get to work with him quite as much as I'd have liked to with me being preggers and the new baby etc. But I guess where there is a will there is a way because I think he's almost got it (and thank goodness because the child has absolutely no fear so having him in the vicinity of any body of water scares the begeebies out of his mama) ... Here is a video of Jake working with him (It didn't dawn on me to start videoing him until he'd been swimming for quite a while, so of course I got him as he is getting tired...but you can still get the idea).

| Classic Jaxon...the child can actually swim quite well but for some reason he doesn't really like to put his head under unless he has to. So you think he may be in trouble as you just see his little head bobbing above the water as he makes his way around the pool, but he's not. |

Prior to swimming we all watched the BYU/Ole Miss game. The kids were all dressed up in their cougar gear to root on their team (well Brenn mostly slept during the game and we lost Carder pretty quick to Batman Forever...)
