Ruby's on The Pier

While we were in California Brenn turned 9 months. The weather had been so pleasant, so we decided to go down to the beach and have lunch at Ruby's on the pier to celebrate...

The Silly Boys

The Sweet Baby Girl

After lunch we walked along the pier...

The boys loved how far they could see

After the pier we went down to the beach...

The weather wasn't quite warm enough for swimsuits, but that didn't keep the boys from having a great beach day anyway...
They found the lifeguard truck that was parked on the sand to be quite interesting
Carder loved just laying down in the sand and playing in it.

Once the boys started trying to bury the lifeguard truck, we decided to move them down closer to the shore.
Once we moved closer to the shore, the boys entertained themselves by running to the water and back filling up their buckets with water. It was a parents dream...boys getting entertaining themselves by getting all their energy out...SCORE!

The sound of the waves made Brenn super sleepy.
Then the boys took turns burying each other.

It was a fun afternoon for all (especially for those sandy little boys), so much in fact we did it all again the next day.

CA

So after being chastised by my Madre the other day for always being at least a month behind on my posting, I decided I should try and catch up! (We will see how that goes seeing that if I ever actually find time to sit down at the computer it seems to be commandeered by a certain 3 year old who insists that his playing pbskids.org is of much greater importance then anything I might need to do...he did explain the concept of friction to me the other day though, so I guess it is doing something for him.)  Anyway, a few weeks ago we went out to California for a little vacation to escape the Utah cold and enjoy some much needed sunshine.

While we were there...the boys all got haircuts...
Carder with his new do...we woke him up to go if you couldn't tell.
Jaxon lookin suave
Carder got much happier once he scored his sucker...Brenn was just happy to be there

Brenn loved showing off her new mobility skills to her Mimi & Poppy...
She just has to pull up and stand up to EVERYTHING these days!
We got to have a fun park afternoon with one of my best friends Brittany and her handsome little man Mr P...
Carder & Parker scored some cupcakes from the preschool class who were leaving the park as we arrived.
Brittney surprised Brenn with this adorable beanie she had made for her. She has an etsy store where she sells these bad boys (check her out here).  Brenn looked so darn cute in it I just wanted to eat her up!

Carder was a good big brother and took his little sister down the slide.
She loved it.

And I just love these kids!
