47

We blessed Brenn over Labor Day weekend (pictures to come), so some of our family came out for the event.  Back on the 4th of July Carder made buddies with some of the fireman from our local fire station.  They invited him to come back some future time during the day to get a tour of their station etc.  So last Saturday Jake and my Dad took Jaxon and Carder to Fire Station 47 (or as Carder refers to it "his fire station").  They got the red carpet treatment from the fireman which included getting to go for a ride in the fire truck as well as getting to shoot the fire hose.

Instead of fire dogs Station 47 has pet turtles and a rabbit.  The boys quite enjoyed getting to play with these little critters...

They got to get all strapped in the seats of the fire truck like real firefighters and go for a ride around the block...

Then the boys got to shoot the fire hose.  They loved telling me how they got to shoot the sign (Jaxon claimed they made it spin when they hit it with the water)...

When the boys came back from the fire station and were telling me all about their fun morning I couldn't tell who enjoyed themselves more Jake or Carder.  When I saw this pic it looked like my Dad and Jake were in line for a turn to shoot the hose as well but then I was informed just the boys got to do it (I think Jake was a little bit jealous).
