For the last couple weeks of July I took the kids down to California. We made the trip for a few reasons: my dad hadn't gotten to see Brenn yet and my cousins from Texas were also coming there for a visit. But the biggest reason was that Jake was planning on taking the California Bar and with a wife that had been on bedrest/recovering from a C Section, an overactive toddler and a new baby (not to mention working full time)...getting anytime to study at all was IMPOSSIBLE. This way he had a good week or so to just focus on studying while I did the kids with some help from my fam.
While we were there we got to do a couple beach days. It was Brenn's first time to the beach and the day couldn't have been more perfect...our second trip not so much.

It was my sister Lauren's (who Brenn is named after) birthday while we were there. We always go out for cheeseburgers (it was her favorite food), so the whole family went to IN N OUT in honor of her...
