Kimball Farm

With Spring came the discovery of another gem that our area had...Kimball Farm Ice Cream. I guess it closes up for the Winter, so when we first got to Massachusetts it was already closed or doing so soon so we never got a chance to try it. Man oh Man had we been missing out. Hands down the best cookies and cream Ice Cream I have ever tasted. They had a ton of other flavors too, but that one was just so good I couldn't bring myself to deviate from it. (Jake and Carder were better at doing some experimenting). We made several family outings out to Concord to get ourselves some of Kimball's delicious Ice Cream. And had some great times chatting on our trip out and back and enjoying that yummy ice cream together.

With Jake's schedule most of the time we didn't make it out there 'til dusk or when it was already dark, but right before we saw the Johnson's off we made it out during the day and were so glad we did. They have a little area for kids to see goats and sheep, some fun picnic areas and lots of grassy room for kids to roam and play (not to mention the delicious ice cream you get to devour!). Good times.

There is all this grass around and for some reason Brenn finds the one patch of dirt and decides to play in that. Ellie joined her and the next time I look down Brenn's face is covered in dirt and she looks like a little racoon. We ask them what happened and Ellie tells us "I make her look like a lady." Brenn wasn't crying and with that response from Ellie how could you do anything but laugh. We just had to snap some pictures before cleaning off her face.
