Ellie Callait Johnson

My sister Brittany and Brother in Law Leon had their first baby last week.  On September 14th the welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family who they named Ellie Collait Johnson.  My mom went out to help Brittany out after the baby was born, and then Carder and I went out for a couple days once they got home from the hospital. It was nice to be able to meet my first blood niece and get to help Brittany enter the world of motherhood. (not to mention watching Carder with the baby...so precious!)

Carder loves baby Ellie.  He'd go up and touch her, look up at you and say "Baby Ellie cute."  He was also totally enamored with her ears, and how tiny they were.  He was such a big helper when we were there, holding her helping with her bottle and so good at being gentle.

When the boys weren't helping take care of Ellie they...

or exercising their imaginations in some other way...

Here Carder is as he's named himself "Doughnut Man." Leon brought home Krispy Kreme's one morning and even scored the boys some hats...they were very pleased

I love this one because it totally captures their lives right now.  Brittany is in PA school (she had the baby on Tuesday and was back to school Thursday...crazy!) and Leon is studying like crazy (seriously I have never seen anyone study so much) to take the LSAT in October.
