With a big brother, poor little Brenn is inundated with all things Superheros, Dinos etc. (she is not complaining, she just adorns herself in necklaces and boas while Carder uses her necklaces as battle gear as he drapes them in an X across his body to hold all his gear). So I thought that it'd be a fun idea to have a little time designated to all things girl, hence Fancy Friday. Fancy Friday is still in its infancy, so the kinks are being worked out, but the idea was that on Friday we put on our frilly frocks, eat some fancy foods and read our favorite girly books. This was our first one. The girls had a jolly old time eating fancy cheese sandwiches with no crust, brie and raspberry bites (ok so those were More for the Mama, but they still liked them), and B&W Chocolate Cupcakes (its the Sweet Tooth Fairy recipe...so yummy!) all served on a silver platter :) After our little feast we read princess books and played dress ups, it was a delightful morning. (Carder was also quite the fan of Fancy Friday as he to partake in the spoils once he got home from preschool).
