Family Fun in Phoenix

Having lived so far away from family when we were in Boston, we really came to appreciate having anybody semi-close. Jake's sister Allie, her husband Ryan and their little boy Carson (who's exactly 2 weeks younger than Brenn) lived about an hour away on the other side of the valley while Ryan is attending optometry school.

We have been to quite a few children's museums with living so many places (and visiting family). The Phoenix Children's museum just might take the cake for our favorite (it's seriously awesome).

The master fort builders
Leave it to Carder to come up with a way to make riding a motorcycle more exciting
The paper mache castle that they let the kids paint has always been one of our favorites, and once again it did not disappoint...
The kids had so much fun exploring and playing with their cousin Carson

...and after being served some of Brenn's pretend food we decided to hit up the Phoenix Public Market for some real food.
When we saw the food truck that was on the Food Network the choice was made for us...po' boys and family, not a bad day.
